Centered and thirds Beauty
By the change of the light.
I used different positions of the sun (or lack there of in my first shot) as natural lighting and to create different lighting effects on this tree in my neighbors yard. I choose this tree because I enjoyed it full of color in Autumn and was hoping to capture a snap shot or two of its natural beauty as its dormant. Over all I believe the different light situations truly gave this tree a great deal of different looks. Its fascinating how the light can change the appearance of something so drastically.
This picture of my neighbors tree was taken at about 5:30 am using my night settings there is a small amount of front lighting from a street light from a across the street and further back.
This picture is slightly back lit but the light seemed to be defused so the back lit was not so dramatic 6:40
This picture was taking just afternoon so the lighing situation was lighting from above and to the side. This emphasizes the object details. 1:15 pm
This picture turned out to be a better example of back lit.
This picture was taken late afternoon I believe this picture depicts a warm color temperature. 4:35pm

A little bit of color
These pictures where taking in Boston and some at the New England Aquarium.
Here is my first Monochrome color scheme picture this was sunset leaving the city.
This is one of my Monochrome color scheme pictures I took earlier in the day in Boston The glass being darker and the sky a lighter blue created an eye appealing look to me.
This picture was taken in the Aquaruim and is a Complementary color scheme picture.
Analogous color scheme with blue green yellow with differnt hues in the fish rocks and leafs.
This was another example of Complementary color scheme. The blue of the glass building and the oragne of the sun and brick builing created a beautiful contrast.

collage of science
I created this collage with photo's I took while at the Montshire museum of science in Norwich Vt with my daughter this weekend. I had fun once I found a spark but I did have a great deal of difficulty getting my camera to focus and finding the right lighting. I hope you enjoy my collage of science!

Two of the same yet . . .so differnt
Here are two photographs from those I took. I picked these pictures because they where so different from one another. Both use different angels of the same stack of cups to create unique photographs
I do like the angel of this picture because it captures the reflection creating more depth to the image
This is my favorite out of the pictures I took. I used slower shutter speed with a larger aperture opening in order to allow enough light to be detected I used a small amount of movement to create an light show effect with out any editing.
perspective
My first Digiatial photogrophy project! These pictures where taken with my Nikon coolpix p510 using a black light and fun stackable cups. my origianal image choices did not pan out and I stumbled into this idea while playing with our light table at work with the children in my class!
